| FAST ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT |
|
Advanting® is a new steering and facilitation method for fast organizational development. The key element in this method is the active participation of all employees of an organization (or an organizational unit) in a change and improvement process.
This happens in unique large group events in which all participating employees are dynamically incorporated, participating in the evaluation and improvement of ineffective and inefficient aspects. Typically, three employee meetings of this kind are held in four-month intervals. The results of the first meeting are used for improvement measures and projects, while concrete solutions can be applied immediately. In the feedback loops of the Advanting® meetings, achievements can be measured, solidified and developed further for the success of the organization.
Effect The effectiveness of Advanting® is based on three main principles: • Through the participation of all employees, the full potential of the work force is unfolded and utilized. • Process and results are transparent for everyone in the organization. There is no need for a separate communication strategy in which information can get lost or altered. This way, the employees experience themselves as participants and take ownership for the process. • Through transparent evaluations and feedback loops, management at all levels is obliged to actively initiate recognizable improvements. Delaying or lack of participation in the change process attracts immediate attention, is difficult to disguise and will cause prompt reactions.
Goals The goal of Advanting® is fast and focused organizational development. Through its unique the particular design, all employees feel appreciated as ‘co-architects’ of the improvement process and take ownership for process and results. Advanting® gets the entire organization moving – even if it is a “heavy ship”. Stopping, slowing down or getting out is hardly possible.
