Mountain tour to the top of the MADRISA (2.770 m) 04:30 hours 640 m of height differnce
What a peak! This prideful eastern pillar of the "Rätikon" is a true giant of gneiss.
Impressively and beautifully shaped with its three peaks it emerges behind the mountain village Gargellen. Spectacular panaroma of all the mountains of the Rätikon and the Silvretta... even of the Matterhorn!"
Facts and Figures
• Good physical condition needed for 4:30 hours of uphill plus 2:30 hours downhill walking (time excl. breaks)
• 640 Meters of difference in Height must be overcome twice (going up and down) in a mostly rocky terrain, i.e. gravel and solid gneiss
• Unsafe sections will be secured by our mountain guide. Participants must be free from giddiness!
• No real climbing skills are necessary, but a reliable ability to step safely.
• No food shopping facilites during the tour. Food and water for approx. 8 hours must be brought by each participant.
• Very scenic tour, lots of amazing vistas and a stunning panorama.
• Synopsis: Adventurous, challenging for any team but realizable!
